This Edinburgh Festival 2012 performance of words and poetry was based on Twitter feeds by Ryoichi Wago, a poet who was born in Fukushima in 1968. The key restraint on this design was the need for a 10 minute get-in.
Review:
"The stage set was simple, a carpet, two rocks and one chair, all made of Japanese newspapers. The carpet and the rocks were explained representing a Zen garden. I consider this set well shows the director Eiko Sasaki's analysis of the poet Ryoichi Wago's words."
