White Horse Theatre is a professional theatre company which specialises in the use of theatre as an aid in the teaching of English. It has grown to become Europe's largest professional educational touring theatre. White Horse Theatre performs in schools, theatres and arts centres, and approximately 350,000 people watch the theatre's performances each year.
Designing for the Company presents some interesting challenges. For example a set must be adaptable to several different productions, it must fit into a wide variety of performance spaces and must be capable of rapid assembly.
